Engineering Blockchain Consortium and Blockhaus Investment AG join forces to develop CoEngineers.io
The Seattle-based Integrated Engineering Blockchain Consortium (IEBC) enters into a partnership with Blockhaus Investment AG, of Zurich Switzerland. The team is now positioning for the release of CoEngineers.io, the first Blockchain developed by engineers for engineers.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
April 2018, Seattle, WA. The Integrated Engineering Blockchain Consortium (IEBC) www.IEBC.co has partnered with Switzerland-based, Blockhaus Investment AG for the advancement of its digital platform, CoEngineers.io, to be alpha test released on a native proof-of-stake Blockchain in Q2 2018. The objective is to decentralize and integrate the global body of engineering knowledge and foster multi-disciplinary collaboration among engineers in the infrastructure, energy, transportation, and construction industries.
Led by IEBC Founder and CEO Daniel Robles, and Arie Levy-Cohen, CEO of Blockhaus Investment AG, the partnership will produce a Blockchain Platform to allow access to the engineering body of knowledge on a global basis.
CoEngineers.io will create a shared ledger of integrated engineering knowledge embodied in a global network of engineers from the infrastructure, energy, transportation, and construction industries. Use cases include the secure dispatch of credentials, transaction records, digital modeling, and the “verification of physical state” in support of, among others, novel financial and insurance products, IoT, AI, AV and applicable smart contracts. Use cases also include adjudicating contracts, analytics, as well as mitigating insurance and financial risk.
The platform contemplates using complex multi-agent game mechanics to distribute two cryptocurrencies which represent quantity and quality of engineering claims, thus promoting collaboration, validation, and fault tolerance, while thwarting trivial or malicious claims.
IEBC arose from the 2015 FinTech task force of the National Society of Professional Engineers authoring the seminal blockchain whitepaper for professional engineers as well as a position paper for Center for Insurance Policy Research of the National Association of Insurance Commissioners. In 2017 the IEBC won the Grand Challenge Innovation Contest from the American Society of Civil Engineers in two categories; IoT and Best Value. Daniel Robles will provide a Keynote address at the The 2018 Conference on Advancing Analysis & Simulation in Engineering, hosted by the National Agency for Finite Element Methods and Standards (NAFEMS) Mr. Robles will serve as a panelist at the FutureTech Conference held by the Engineers News Record (ENR) in San Francisco, June 6 2018.
